Why current-gen only
GTA 6 skipping the PS4 and Xbox One is itself a confirmed, meaningful fact. Building only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S lets Rockstar target faster storage, more memory and stronger hardware without dragging last-gen consoles along. That is also why the PS6 question is so live: a game built this far forward is expected to have a long life across future hardware, even though no future-console version is confirmed. What is widely expected but not confirmed
These are common expectations, and they are reasonable, but Rockstar has not confirmed them, so we keep them in the rumour column. Leak / rumour
- A PC version. GTA 5 eventually came to PC, and a GTA 6 PC release is widely expected to follow the console launch. Rockstar has not confirmed a PC date, so there is no PC release date to quote.
